Head of Benelux and French Speaking Regions

Lead sales efforts, drive asset growth, and oversee client relationships across institutional and intermediary segments in the Benelux and French-speaking regions, while developing and executing strategic distribution plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities and Scope
• Achieve individual and team annual flow and activity targets while contributing to the broader business objectives.
• Lead, mentor and develop an ambitious and talented team of 3 sales specialists dedicated to the region.
• Distribute ETFs/ETPs across institutional and intermediary clients in the Benelux and FSR.
• Identify, anticipate, and address client requirements, sharing insights with internal stakeholders, and positioning yourself as an authority on the market and client segment.
• Collaborate with the regional sales team and internal stakeholders to define localise plans and focus initiatives.
• Develop and execute a detailed distribution plan for institutional and intermediary clients in in the region, leveraging internal marketing and research resources
• Become an expert on ETFs and ETPs, including their structures,
methodologies, and regulatory frameworks.
• Share and promote investment ideas and research with both new and
existing clients.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., research, marketing, PR, product development, compliance, and capital markets), promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Stay informed on industry and market trends
• Accountability for the maintenance and growth of the internal CRM – map regional client organisations and ensure all relevant contacts, notes and activities are entered timely and accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 10+ years of proven sales and business development experience within the asset management industry.
• Proven track record of success in managing and leading high-performing sales teams.
• Languages: Native in French, fluent in English.
• A comprehensive understanding of the investor landscape and relevant client base in the Benelux and French-speaking regions.
• Strong network of existing client relationships and experience in building strong relationships across client segments.
• Previous experience with ETFs/ETPs is essential.
• Strong knowledge of ETFs/ETPs and their appeal to investors.
• Strong market knowledge and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail, diligence, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated team player with an entrepreneurial, collaborative and innovative mindset.
